Critiques
I'm always a fan of works that paint with shadow as much as they paint with light, and this is a fine example. The light forms a vertical through the picture, which is mirrored in the verticals of the cupboard doors, the model's limbs and the wall tiles. Angled at a classic 60 degrees to this is the window, and the girl's right leg, lending a pleasing symmetry to the whole.
It's not quite a colour image, and it's not quite sepia and it's not quite monochrome. I love the visual ambiguity of this, and the tones allow for a rich soft image, that doesn't lose any detail in the high or low tones.
The model is, naturally, gorgeous, and wearing clothes that juxtapose a classically angelic shift top and modern fetishy footwear, passing through timeless black hosiery on the way.
Eroticism and innocence, the everyday and the precious. A beautiful image all round. Congratulations!
